Limited-Edition Digital Photographs

Who says Old-Dogs don’t learn New-Tricks?

Don’t tell me that photographer Steve Young, who’s been slaving away in the darkroom for over 30 years, has sold-out to digital!

Well, not really … you see, Steve saw how easy (relatively), how good, and how environmentally-clean digital is, so he embraced digital as part of his repertoire.

How could he learn that confounded computer contraption?  I guess being forced to do learn that computer stuff over the years as Wildlife Biologist for Fraser finally paid off!

And… what about the “Archival” thing?  Yes friends, it is true, with the right materials and technique, digital prints last longer, much longer, than “conventional” color enlargements from negatives.

And… there is a craft to doing digital right! Proper exposure, color balancing, the right choice of inks and papers, using color profiles correctly, are all important in making quality photographs, and we’re good at it!

Check out Steve’s photography, Jan’s Stained-Glass Art & Supplies, and international Fair Trade arts &crafts at One World Artisans in Frenchville.

Oh, by the way, we still do film photography too!
